In my previous life, I played with really really big databases and I still do from time to time. I've also been following the Rails community form almost day one though all I did was toy around with it and I never developed any serious Website using this fine framework. This is due to the technology but simply because I'm usually hired to build large data warehouses or optimize their ETL scripts.

As a Ruby lover and aspiring Mac programmer, I will be learning new things in the coming months all the while going back to my roots as a C programmer. Many thanks to the Mac Ruby project, Ruby will soon be a first class citizen for programming Mac applications. Since Ruby will share the same runtime as Objective-C it will also be possible to combine the best of both these languages.

To make a long story short. Given that the Tech community has given me a lot over the years, I've decided to give a little back. This section is a collection of tips, tricks and code snipets that have served me well in my carreer as a programmer as well as on my journey to becoming a "real" Mac programmer.
